Building a lasting foundation

FOREST CITY CHURCH BUILDING FUND

For years, God has been faithfully growing the good work He began in this building on the corner of Kingsway and Imperial. Lives have being changed. Families have found community. People continue to encounter Jesus and begin life changing relationships with Him.

With four fruitful years already under our belts as Forest city Church - and as our church continues to grow, we believe it’s important to continue to intentionally steward the space God has given us both to accommodate the growth and life we are experiencing now and prepare it for future generations.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Our building is more than a facility.

It’s where:

  • Kids learn about Jesus for the first time

  • Students find belonging

  • Families worship together

  • People in our city find hope

  • Community gathers throughout the week

And not just on Sundays. Throughout the week, our building continues to serve — as a daycare, a workplace, and a gathering space for the community.

In a city where space is limited, we believe this building is a gift to steward well — for today and for generations to come.

Our Current Project: Daycare & Kids Centre Expansion

Our goal: $250,000

This project will:

Improve our Sunday Kids environments
Creating age-specific classrooms that allow us to better care for and engage children at every stage.

Expand daycare capacity
Adding 16 new daycare spaces to help meet the significant childcare demand for families in Burnaby.

Create welcoming, flexible spaces
That can serve both ministry needs and community events throughout the week.

This isn’t simply about renovations — it’s about preparing this building to serve our city for decades to come.
