Forest City Church was birthed from a desire to see health in the local church. To think of a forest is to think of a place of restoration, retreat, stillness; a place that brings oxygen to the atmosphere.

We desire to bring these attributes to our community by being a place to be restored, find peace, and bring fresh life to those searching for deeper meaning and purpose.

We desire to be a place of diversity, of experience and age, of symbiotic relationships. As it is with our spiritual journey and place in the church, we are better in a community than trying to go at it alone.

    We value growth over perfection. We believe we’ve never fully arrived and that there’s always room for growth.

    This means we are constantly looking for opportunities to empower others and give voice to potential .

    Like Jesus, we want to have a posture of genuine curiosity of asking questions of those who are different than us .

    We believe healthy communities are curious ones. Where space is given to ask questions and room for doubts to be discussed.
